1. Remove Pivot Screws: Use the hex wrench included with your helmet to carefully remove the pivot screws on both the left and right sides of the shield.

2. Detach Friction Sliders: Unscrew and remove the left and right-side friction sliders using the same hex wrench, setting them aside safely.

3. Inspect the Shield: Gently remove the shield from the helmet and check for scratches or imperfections that could affect visibility.

4. Clean the Shield: Use a high-quality, water-based automotive glass cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth to gently clean the shield, ensuring a scratch-free finish.

5. Reinstall the Shield: Position the shield back onto the helmet and secure it with the pivot screws. Tighten gently to avoid damaging the threads or pivot inserts.

6. Adjust Friction Sliders: Reattach the friction sliders and screws, adjusting them to your preferred tension. You may need to tweak the eccentric button for a perfect fit.

7. Test the Shield: Before hitting the track, test the shield’s movement and fit to confirm proper installation and smooth operation.
